The Broad Weekend MBA Alumni Association has created a Weekend MBA Scholarship to help provide funding for working professionals who are striving to earn their MBA while continuing their career.
“We are pleased that alumni support has made the Weekend MBA Scholarship possible. The program has had a significant impact on our lives, and this is an opportunity to pay forward the benefits of the Weekend MBA,” according to Jim Roberts, chair of the group’s scholarship committee. The Alumni Association continues to encourage contributions to the scholarship and hopes to expand the number of scholarships available in future years.
This year, a $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to an incoming student who demonstrates collaborative leadership, hardworking excellence, and commitment to learning–traits that exemplify the values of the Broad Weekend MBA. Admitted students can apply for the scholarship between November 30, 2011 and January 30, 2012. Winners will be notified in early March. A parallel scholarship will be awarded to a current student in November 2011.
